Once quantum computers become stable, they can break traditional cryptographic algorithms. Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is designed to resist these future attacks. Before transitioning to PQC, organizations must do a PQC Risk Assessment to identify where and how vulnerable algorithms are used.
PQSee is a free tool that identifies weak cryptography in your network. It enables you conduct a cryptographic asset inventory of network protocols in anticipation of the migration to PQC compliance. We've done cryptographic asset inventories on multiple large scale national networks to help inform CISOs and CIOs.
A brief overview about its use for risk assessments is here.
